This is where I document my DIY projects, home automation setups, and whatever else catches my interest. I enjoy building things myself, taking them apart, and sharing what I learn along the way.

3D Printing — From building a VORON CoreXY printer from scratch, to converting an Anet A8 into a sturdy AM8 aluminium frame, to designing custom PCBs and 3D-printed enclosures.

Home Automation — I run Home Assistant to control my home, integrating everything from my iDM Terra heat pump (via Modbus), to waste collection schedules, to custom ESPHome controllers. Previously I used OpenHAB before making the switch.

Electronics — Whether it’s a PID controller upgrade for my Rancilio Silvia espresso machine, a DIY lab power supply, or a custom ESP8266-based controller for my Ventomaxx ventilation system — I enjoy designing and building electronics projects, including KiCad PCB layouts.

DIY & More — From building speakers with my grandfather to calibrating TVs with a colorimeter, to hiking the Berliner Höhenweg in the Zillertal — this blog is a collection of projects and experiences I found worth sharing.
